A Warm Welcome to Abodee
Someone who listens beyond the surface, and cares deeply about the person in front of them.
At House of Ikigai, we have always believed that the people behind your care matter just as much as the treatments themselves. So it is with genuine joy that we introduce a wonderful new addition to our team, Abdulrahman (Abodee) Alhasso.
We asked Abodee a few questions so that you could get to know him a little before you meet. What he shared felt very much at home here.
What drew you to aesthetics?
My route into aesthetics came through curiosity and pursuing further learning and understanding of physiology, pharmacology, patient care and artistry.
I think real care in aesthetics is listening beyond the surface request, understanding intention and protecting from unnecessary intervention. My aim is to create a space where someone feels seen, safe and respected.
What is the one thing you wish more people understood about their skin or their aesthetic journey before they came through the door?
I think there is wisdom in patience and consistency.
Meaningful results come from layered and thoughtful care over time.
What brings you joy outside of work?
Time with the family who matter most keeps everything in perspective. A perfect day is usually a simple one.
I also find fulfilment from having far too many hobbies such as Photography (particularly night sky and Infrared) as well as Scuba Diving, to name a couple.
What does the word “ikigai” - reason for being - mean to you personally?
Alignment between skill, service, and meaning.
For me it’s using knowledge and experience to contribute positively in life and helping people feel comfortable in themselves while building something authentic.
What is one piece of advice you would give to someone who is curious about aesthetics but feels nervous about taking the first step?
I think curiosity is a great place to begin. You don’t need to have all the answers before walking through the door.
Take it slowly and start with a conversation, not a treatment.
Nervousness usually comes from the unknown, and the right clinician will prioritise understanding where you are and what your goals are.
And finally — if your skincare routine were a film, what would it be called?
I'd pick a series rather than a film. Ongoing, evolving, and probably built on routine rather than dramatic plot twists.
It’s about sticking to the fundamentals, adapting when needed, and respecting that it is a long term process.
Abodee, we are so glad you are here. Welcome to the House of Ikigai family.
If you would like to book a consultation and experience our approach for yourself, we would love to welcome you in.
